We have recently completed the installation and commissioning of a special heavy-duty overhead crane for a major rolling mill in France.
Designed and manufactured to meet the Customer’s specific operational requirements, the crane has been developed to operate in a demanding production environment characterized by intensive duty cycles and the need for maximum reliability, safety, and operational continuity. The crane is equipped with an operator cabin and a rotating trolley, a configuration specifically engineered to ensure optimal load handling, enhanced maneuverability, and precise positioning throughout the various stages of the production process. This solution provides the operator with superior control and flexibility while meeting the stringent operational requirements typical of modern steel manufacturing facilities.
The entire project was managed by our team, from preliminary and detailed engineering through manufacturing, installation, and final commissioning at the Customer’s site. Particular attention was dedicated to structural robustness, component durability, and the reliability of the electrical and control systems, all essential features for equipment operating in heavy-duty industrial environments.
