These cranes, being of small dimensions and easy to install, represent the ideal solution to handle loads just in the area served by the crane on work site.
There are two categories of jib cranes:
Pillar
cranes
The supporting column is fixed to the proper foundation plinth by means of log bolts or, in special case and if possible, by screw anchors or chemical fixing.
Cantilever
cranes
These cranes, fixed to an existing structure (pillars, walls, machine bodies) through a clamping and tie-rods process, can handle loads by rotating round an axis placed on the cantilever.
