Metallization and secondary slitter are carried out after the primary slitter. The metallization process duration is different from the duration of the process producing slit reels. BONFANTI has developed solutions able to solve completely all current logistic issues:

  • Buffer warehouses (WIP) for the separation of Primary slitter – Metallization – Secondary slitter processes
    • From manual single-level warehouses to automatic multi-level warehouses
  • Shaft and pipe inserting machine for slit reel preparation to the coating process
    • From manual to completely automatic solutions integrated within the logistic process of metallization
  • Feeding systems for metallization machines (loading/unloading of reels)
    • From monorail systems to automatic systems exclusively dedicated to the optimized carrying out of the reel changing cycle on the metallization machines
  • Feeding systems for secondary slitters loading/unloading
  • Systems for transporting slit reels to the other production areas (tobacco, packaging, etc.)
    • Shuttles and conveyors designed according to the same principles guiding those of the “Slit reels” area, but optimized for controlling and handling smaller reels
  • Reels weighing and labelling systems
    • From manual weighing and label writing and printing stations to automatic weighing and labelling stations
  • Handling systems for the completely automatic control of the whole metallization and secondary slitter area
    • Systems making it possible to control automatically inbound reels storage, pipe insertion and extraction, reel changing on metallization machines, temporary storage of reels to be cut, cut lines loading and unloading operations.

For the development of solutions in this area, too, BONFANTI has mainly based on the ability of designing solutions that guarantee operational safety, product quality assurance and orderly logistics with the best use of the available space.

BONFANTI machines and equipment make it possible to implement several different solutions: from the simplest (single equipment) solutions to more complex ones (combination of equipment and systems) suited to meet even the most difficult and special needs.

All BONFANTI equipments, in all FILM production areas, have been conceived for guaranteeing production process conformance with the AIB (American Institute of Baking) standard.

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the correct functioning of procedures and to improve the use of online applications. This document provides information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, on how they are used and how to manage them.
Cookies are short text files (letters and/or numbers) which allow the web server to save information on the client (the browser). This information can be reused during the same visit or a later one, even after some days (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored based on the user's preferences for the individual browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smart phone).
Similar technologies such as, for instance, web beacons, transparent GIF's and all forms of local storage introduced through HTML5 can be used to gain information on user behaviour and on the use of services.
Below we will refer to cookies and all similar technologies as "cookies".

Depending on the cookies' characteristics and uses, we can distinguish between different categories:

When visiting a website, cookies can be set by the visited site ("owners") as well as by sites managed by other organizations ("third parties"). Important examples are "social plug-ins" for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn. They are parts of the visited page directly generated by these sites and incorporated into the page of the hosting site. The most common use of social plug-ins is for sharing content on social networks.
The presence of these plug-ins leads to cookies being set and read by sites managed by third parties. The management of the information collected by "third parties" is governed by the rules relative to those third parties and to which you should refer. For better transparency and convenience, we list the web addresses for the different rules and cookie management modes.

The site also includes some components set by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Also in this case, there are third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the performance of the hosting site (performance cookies).
Google Analytics uses "cookies" to collect and anonymously analyse information on the site's usage behaviour (incl. a user's IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it to create reports for site managers on the activities on the websites. This site does not use (and does not allow others to use) the Google analysis tool to monitor or collect personal identification information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other piece of data owned by Google and does not try to associate any IP address with the identity of a user. Google may also report this information to third parties if the law provides for it and if these parties manage this information on behalf of Google.

Some cookies (session cookies) are only active until the browser is closed or the user logs out. Other cookies continue to be active after the browser is closed and are also available for later visits.
These cookies are called "persistent" and their duration is established by the server when they are generated. In some cases they expire, in other cases their duration is permanent.

Users can decide whether to accept cookies or not by using their browser settings.
Attention: the total or partial deactivation of technical cookies may affect the use of features reserved to signed-in users. On the other hand, the use of public content is possible even by totally disabling cookies.

Disabling "third-party" cookies does not affect browsing in any way.
Settings can be specially defined for different sites and web applications. Moreover, the best browsers allow defining different settings for "owner" and "third-party" cookies.
For example, in Firefox, through the menu Tools->Options->Privacy, you can access a control panel where you can choose whether to accept (or not) the different types of cookies and/or remove them.
